Any incorrect selection earns zero for that question. An empty or timed-out answer earns zero. Fractions are added exactly and the base score is rounded once to two decimal places. The attempt speed bonus is 0–99 points, calculated from time remaining on questions that earn credit; partial answers contribute proportionally. Your highest adjusted score stays protected, so a lower second score never reduces your best. The first accepted ranked answer earns Single-Origin Girl permanently. Earn Ganachy permanently at 90% question credit (18 full-question equivalents out of 20, including partial credit). Unfinished attempts expire at the cutoff. The top three players by best adjusted score each receive the same set of handmade chocolate bars made by Boot Coffee students. Email sharing is optional and does not change eligibility or odds. Potential winners must reply within 3 days (72 hours) of their winner notification. If a potential winner does not reply in time, the prize is offered to the next eligible finisher in ranking order who has not already received a prize, continuing through fourth, fifth, sixth place and beyond as needed. Each alternate has the same 3-day reply period. The challenge sponsor handles prize shipping. Shipping is free to winners and is available only to deliverable USA addresses.

Some questions have more than one correct answer and say “Select all correct answers.” Choose some correct answers with no incorrect selections to earn proportional points: selecting 2 of 3 earns 666.67 of 1,000 points. Selecting any incorrect answer earns zero for that question. Credit is summed across the attempt, then rounded once to two decimals.

Up to 1,000 points per question, including partial credit + 0–99.00 speed bonus − 100 per earlier ranked attempt, floored at zero. Your highest individually adjusted attempt counts. Scores compare the two decimals shown. Equal scores share competition positions (1, 1, 3).

Speed bonus: the mean remaining-time fraction weighted by earned credit, measured by the server including network time, scaled to 0–99.00. Answers earning zero credit and timed-out questions contribute no speed bonus.

Earn Ganachy: 90% accuracy including partial credit on any valid completed ranked attempt. Retake penalties do not affect this award.

Participation default: your first accepted ranked answer earns the one tune, even if you do not finish. Test attempts do not rank or receive real rewards.

New challenge attempts allow 15 seconds per question, including calculations. An attempt already started keeps its original timers.

Unfinished attempts cannot be saved or resumed. Leaving or reloading ends the attempt; question time continues offline while this page stays open. Correct answers and explanations unlock after close. Attempts with a median below 2.5 seconds or more than five answers below one second are flagged for manual review; fast answers are not automatically rejected. Score prizes use best scores and published minimum accuracy. Cutoff ties: Prize order uses highest score, then higher accuracy (including partial credit where applicable), then lower total server-measured answer time, then earlier completion. If all these measures are identical at the prize cutoff, all remaining tied entrants receive the same prize. No random selection is used.
